One of the Santa solar lights didn’t survive the evening’s game of H.O.R.S.E., but the gnome does look rather suspicious.
Today was more productive than yesterday, but still got a bit derailed by the time afternoon hit. Hospice Nurse and CNA visits for Mom collided and then an unexpected visit from the hospice chaplain a bit later all made it a little futile to try to finish the project I was working on in the morning. Go live will probably happen a bit later tonight.
I should put a reminder in my calendar that Mom’s Medicare deductible resets at the beginning of each year. It’s ok with the smaller prescriptions, but when I go to pick up her Aggrenox, I get a bit of sticker shock and it takes me a little while to get my bearings. Once I figure out what’s going on, things are fine.
I’ve progressed past taking my shock out on the poor pharmacy staff because it’s just not their fault that pharmaceutical and insurance companies are at war. Don’t even get me started on how ridiculous it is that a company can patent the combination of two *very* cheap medications and manage to charge over $300 for a month’s supply.
