When I was in college, I was very fortunate to have roommates with a wider and higher quality taste in music than what I managed to acquire in high school. As a result, I plundered their record & CD collections on a regular basis.
One of my favorite things to do was to slap on the headphones and half doze on the couch while listening to some instrumentals. You know, find that place halfway between here and there and just kind of hover while the music moves images in front of your eyes.
One of the best albums for this was Phil Keaggy’s the Wind and the Wheat and my favorite track was March of the Clouds. Even now, if I close my eyes, I can hear the music play.
